Help send a computer to an organization. The way we get computers to many organizations who need them is to send a complete computer in a suitcase. With the changes in airline fees there are now baggage charges. Help us defer these costs and get computers to the organizations that need them. Fifty dollars covers the cost of one complete computer in a suitcase. Please send any donations to

We are always looking for laptops, Core 2 Duo and above.
For desktops we are looking for batches of identical models so we can process them efficiently. We have a strong preference for the smaller desktop models with Windows 7 or later Licenses.
Thank you for your interest in reusing your computers. We also maintain a list of other organizations looking for computers.
We have scaled down our activities slightly, but we are still active providing support and hardware to local and international organizations. We have a number of ongoing activities that we have committed to it is difficult for us to undertake new projects at this time.

TecsChange is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization in East Boston, Massachusetts. We provide computer equipment, training and technical support to grassroots groups here and abroad. In the past we have offered computer courses to organizers and activists. We also offered our YouthTech program on technology and media to teens. Contributions from individuals are our primary source of income, and are the reason we can continue to provide training, computers and technical support to social justice organizers and activists. We have received a small amount of funding from foundations, but presently need to rely on the donations of individuals to make our programs happen. We provide technology to grassroots activists and organizations because of the financial support we receive from individuals who provide the majority of our funding.
